Gary G
Gary Hagerty (G or G-man) was born in Johnston, RI, the biggest little state in the union. He started DJ-ing in the mid 70s and continued through the 90s. He has been involved in music for 45 some-odd years, through promotion, connecting artists to producers and even singing bass with that lovely deep timbre he has. He served as ambassador of the Rhode Island Blues Hall of Fame and acts as an admin for several music groups, through FaceBook. He is a lover of music of all genres, but has a soft spot for DooWop. He is especially fond of the rare and obscure DooWop gems that he has been finding and bringing to his show G's Music of a Magical Generation in Time for two years.
Later in life, he moved from Rhode Island to South Carolina and then to Mississippi, developing a love for the deep south in the US. He is excited to share his finds with you.
